Girls’ Generation’s Sunny Bonds with Lee Soo Man’s Girl Group A2O MAY in LA “Heartwarming Chemistry”

The video, filmed in Los Angeles, captured a warm and natural atmosphere as the members appeared one by one after Sunny, each holding a rose and blowing hand-kisses, charming fans with their lovable visuals.
Sunny also reposted the clip to her own SNS account the same day, highlighting a friendly and supportive bond between senior and junior artists. The post stood out not only for the special connection with Sunny but also for A2O MAY’s engaging communication with global fans through diverse content.
Sunny and A2O MAY had previously attended the premiere of the documentary “Lee Soo Man: King of K-Pop” as well as one of Lee Soo Man’s long-running tree-planting events, further strengthening their ties.
After leaving SM Entertainment in August 2023, where she had been since her trainee days, Sunny joined her “uncle” Lee Soo Man’s new label A2O Entertainment. Recently, she revealed, “I’m currently receiving producing training under Yoo Young-jin. I’m helping design the trainee training program for A2O, offering emotional support, participating in content filming, styling, and even choreography coaching.” Her multi-faceted involvement has since drawn attention.
Meanwhile, A2O MAY, who officially debuted in December last year, has proven their rising global presence through their debut track “Under My Skin” and second single “Boss”.
The group recently became the first Chinese girl group to perform at the major U.S. music festival “102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango“, while “Boss” entered the Top 10 of China’s QQ Music Hot Songs Chart, and both tracks simultaneously charted on the U.S. Mediabase radio chart, cementing their status as a new global force.
